Mariah Carey gets visited by a CompuNerd (think Geek Squad) in this new funny and sexy music video. The music video is for Mariah's "Touch My Body" - the first single from her album E=MC2. E=MC2 will be released on April 15, 2008. The L.A. Times Extended Play blog says it was produced by C "Tricky" Stewart and The Dream - they also worked on Rihanna's huge "Umbrella" hit. Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard perform "Falling Slowly" from the film "Once" during the 80th Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre. "Falling Slowly" went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song beating out three Disney songs that were nominated. You can see the songs that were nominated here. Singer Kristin Chenoweth: Oscars Prep is Nerve-wracking
Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth is going to be singing "That's How You Know" from the movie Enchanted. She told CNN it is "nerve-racking" to prepare on the big Oscar stage.
Joining them was Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth and singer Marlon Saunders, who are set to perform "That's How You Know" from the movie "Enchanted."
Chenoweth, a Tony Award winner and film and TV star, said it's "nerve-racking" to prepare for the Oscar stage.
"It's the biggest audience I've ever had," the 4-foot, 11-inch performer with the outsized voice told The Associated Press. "I've played many of the famous concert halls in the world but this is something altogether different. I'm just going to try to perform the song and make it about the music and not get too nervous."
Her nerves didn't show during the rehearsal. The diminutive star even warmed up with an operatic aria that drew applause from the orchestra's brass section, which filled half the room. The other half held the strings section and 16 backup singers. Conti wielded his baton from the center as Chenoweth and Saunders donned headphones inside individual glass booths.

Timbaland's Scream With Nicole Scherzinger and Keri Hilson
In case you haven't seen it here is Timbaland's video for "Scream." The music video features Nicole Scherzinger and Keri Hilson. Nicole's been in the magazines lately - most recently gracing the cover of Men's Fitness.
The video was uploaded to Timbaland's YouTube channel which contains the following message from Timbaland.
"My mission is to blow up the boundaries and tear down the limits," says Timbaland. "I'm taking my music outside of the box. I'm not getting away from what I'm known for; I'm just going to a place where it's all about the music, not about the labels on the music. That's why I call it Shock Value--from the artists to the production, it will shock the system."
A new video from Kanye West that shows a woman in lingerie committing a violent act on a person in the trunk of a car has raised eyebrows. You can see the video here on Universal Music's YouTube channel. They don't allow embedding for the video. Usually videos without embedding don't do very well but this video is quickly approaching half a million views and it was just uploaded on February 12, 2008. The video is also embedded in Kanye's blog here. Bloggers are saying the actress in the video is Playboy model Rita G. AP Entertainment reporter Alicia Quarles reports on the 25th anniversary edition of the bestselling album of all time -- Michael Jackson's Thriller. Michael Jackson's website has the following description of the 25th anniversary Thriller. It includes collaborations with Will.I.Am, Kanye West and Fergie.
Thriller is available as a two-disc CD + DVD edition in your choice of covers(the original with Michael in his white suit or an alternative cover of Michael as a zombie). The new CD features the original tracks digitally remastered and new 2008 collaborations with Will.I.Am , Akon and Fergie as well as a new remix of "Billie Jean" from Kanye West and "For All Time," a previously unreleased Michael Jackson ballad from the original Thriller recording sessions. The bonus DVD features new digitally enhanced versions of the short films for "Beat It," "Billie Jean," and "Thriller". It also features Michael's legendary performance on Motown 25, when the world saw the moonwalk for the first time.
Amy Winehouse and Kanye West were the big Grammy winners this year. Winehouse took home five Grammys including New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Winehouse also finally got her U.S. Visa approved according to the Pleasant Morning Buzz. Kanye West brought home four Grammys including the Grammy for Best Rap Album - after being nominated for a total of eight awards. Herbie Hancock was considered the big surprise of the night with his Album of the Year win.

Raw Story reports that Isreal regrets cancelling a Beatles concert in 1965. They plan to deliver apologetic letters to the surviving Beatles and relatives of the deceased Beatle members.
Israel plans to deliver letters of apology to the two surviving members of the British group and relatives of the deceased members for cancelling a concert in 1965, an official at Israel's London embassy told AFP.
"We would like to take this opportunity to rectify a historic missed opportunity which unfortunately took place in 1965 when you were invited to Israel," the mass-selling Yediot Aharonot quoted the letter as saying.
"Unfortunately the state of Israel cancelled your performance in the country due to lack of budget and because several politicians in the Knesset had believed at the time that your performance might corrupt the minds of the Israeli youth," it adds.
Israel's ambassador to Britain Ron Prosor was due to meet Julia Baird, the sister of deceased singer John Lennon, on Monday during a visit to the band's hometown of Liverpool, foreign ministry spokesman Arye Mekel told AFP.
43 years later but better late than never. It certainly would have been a memorable concert. The Beatles toured the U.S. Canada in 1965. 55,000 people saw the Beatles at New York's Shea Stadium.
Another portion of the letter reads, "There is no doubt that it was a great missed opportunity to prevent people like you, who shaped the minds of the generation, to come to Israel and perform before the young generation in Israel who admired you and continues to admire you."
The legendary actress and singer Cher has confirmed a rumor that she will headline in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning May 6. The performance agreement is a partnership with AEG Live includes approximately 200 shows over a span of three years. Cher at The Colosseum will feature hits from Cher's career. The show will be complemented by choreography from Doriana Sanchez, state-of-the-art lighting and special effects and breathtaking costumes designed by Bob Mackie. It should be a great show.
"I started in Vegas at Caesars, so I've come full circle," Cher said. "I'm back and I plan to give my fans the best experience yet. I think everybody knows I only do things in a big way."
Cher is an Oscar, Grammy and Emmy-winning performer. She has released more than 25 albums and sold over 100 million records worldwide in her solo recording career.
