The people behind the popular Celtic Woman have launched an album with male singers. The group is called The High Kings. The High Kings takes some of the classic ballad repertoire from the past and mix them with new and exciting modern songs in the folk idiom. The four-man singing group includes Finbarr Clancy, Martin Furey, Brian Dunphy, and Darren Holden.
The Irish music reflects a wide range of moods, from the rousing "Rocky Road to Dublin" to the haunting strains of "The Parting Glass" to the irresistible sing-along cheerfulness of "The Wild Rover."
